ODA X6-2M implementation of "Backup-to-Cloud"

Hi all

Yesterday I had the possiblity to play with an ODA X6-2M.

We've installed the appliance and created a test-database.

It worked fine, but the BUI-Appliance-Manager seems not very stabil (sorry).

In a second step we're going to deploy the ODA completely with the CLI-Appliance-Manager (odacli create-appliance + odacli create-database).

I'm sure, the behaviour of this setup will be much more user-friendly than the setup with the BUI (wrong presentation; doesn't work with firefox etc.).

But our actual issue was with the implementation of "Backup-to-Cloud" related to the ODA.

We've solved this issue describe below.

In detail: We were not able to run the "Oracle-Database-Cloud-Backup-Modul"-Installer without the error "Could not authenticate to Oracle Database Cloud Backup Module" until we've created a new entry in /etc/hosts with the Oracle-Cloud-Backup-Server.

Howdy, Stranger!
