Ring-Bar Chart Usage

Can anyone point me to documentation that describes the Ring-Bar chart usage.  It looks like it might be a chart that I would like to use, but I can't find any documentation on how to define the bar breakout data, or to set the limits on how/when the bar breaks out.  Thanks.
