What unit of measure is used for the Manufacturing leadtime quantity? Primary, production or someth

Hi,

We are trying to use Variable lead time but we continue to struggle with the results we're getting in a process manufacturing environment.  Does anyone know what UOM is used for the manufacturing lead time?  Populating this field based on the primary UOM generates a very small leadtime conversion factor and the use of a production unit of measure appears incorrect as well.  Not finding documentation on this parameter other than it needs to be greater than 1.
