Replicate (automate) Mass Additions function 'Add to Asset'

 

Hi, my client wants to replicate (automate) the Mass Addition function ‘Add to Asset’. They use Maximo (custom Projects area) to run projects and then interface to Oracle Projects (in order to capitalise and add an asset to the Fixed Asset register). For upgrade projects (to an existing asset) Maximo have a field to hold the existing Oracle Asset Number. Without intervention the system will create a new asset if they don't use the 'Add to Asset' function (on Mass Additions). Is there an API (or other method) that can be called to retrieve the Oracle Asset Number from Maximo,
