FCM 11.1.2.4 Patch 200

There is a statement "This should be less of an issue when FCM 11.1.2.4.200 is released, as SOA will no longer be part of the configuration."

Can anybody elaborate on this more as we are ready to deploy FCM/DM (for new deployment) and want to understand as to how will this impact the overall architecture..
