Innovation Pack 16 upgrade

Hi,

We are planning an upgrade from 8.1.1.11.10 to IP 16 and have some queries regarding the integration web services.

A new RESTful Web API is being delivered for Siebel CRM IP16. What does this mean? will the existing SOAP APIs continue to work after the upgrade to IP16?

Do we need convert the SOAP APIs to REST after the upgrade IP16?

Please advise.
