Kit items processing thru EDI

Hi

We are working in E9.1 and using Kit items in sales orders. Whenever we process EDI orders with kit items, the total number of lines in sales order reaches beyond 999 and it makes EDI inbound to fail. For eg, each kit has around 8-10 child items, and when we get EDI inbound with 150 lines, the total no of lines in sales order (including parent & child) exceeds 1000 lines and it is failing. Not sure anyone experienced this kind of issue and appreciate if you could share best practices to handle kit items in sales order.
