Oracle 12c RMAN-06025 during recover database for log files generated before level 0 backup was take

Hi All,

I've got a very strange problem and am hoping for some help. My environment is Oracle 12.1.0.2 running on RH Linux 6.  We are using a multitenant configuration with one pluggable database.

I'm currently in the process of trying to test a database recovery using a level 0 rman backup run on July 22nd.

My steps are as follows (Note that as my target I'm working on a database server with only the Oracle software installed for the recovery test):

1.  The backup files are coped to a directory on the target database server (/u03/oradata for example).  This includes the backup files from July 22nd for the container, pluggable, and autobackup directories.
