Restrict item from creating purchase requisition in oracle purchasing

Hi All,

I have a requirement where i want to restrict the item for purchase requisition (i.e. one should not be able to see a particular item in the item LOV in purchase requisition form) in purchasing.

Is there any way to achieve the given scenario by seeded functionalities i.e. without using personalization.
