Production line/Work center requirements in WIP

Hi

Need a help on the below requirements.

My customer is automotive industry. They have business globally and having manufacturing units in each geography.

In Manufacturing, they have many assembly lines for sub-assembly and Final assembly. Some Manufacturing unit have 100+ production line. Each line have many workcenter and there would be many operations executed in each work center.. In proposal It is informed to use WIP module to capture the manufacturing process. Now during our assessment , there are many requirements like

  1. Sequence of Products to be produced in a specific production line or machine  ---- In WIP, discrete manufacturing, we are not using any line or workcenter/machine
