Has there been any new development introduced to R12 Fixed Assets allowing the copying of Asset Cate

As many of the FA community will understand, the application of new category configuration can take quite some time. Excel dataloaders have been inefficient and temperamental and must be monitored closely. When testing through several test environments, we must re-apply the configuration of categories to each of those environments as well. Each new implementation/conversion can require we apply up to 50 or more categories per book, and can be extremely time consuming.

Has anything been developed to improve this practice? For example, we are able to export/import configuration for SLA through multiple environments. I would hope something similar can be used. If not, an Oracle ADI Integrator would be terrific.
