WCC imaging security and permissions

Dear Experts,

Can we able to define the security to a imaging search page based on metadata and filter the results without disturbing the picklist parameter? For Example, Say 'A' application contains a picklist as parameter with values abc, def, xyz . If abc is selected then the search result for abc should be displayed.

But what we want to do is : If we declare user group for abc separately users should not be able to query def, xyz . evenif they query they should not see any values. Many thanks for your help in advance.
