stop or change subnet master configuration - impact to systems?

Hello.  I have an Exalogic 1/4 rack interconnected with two Exadata 1/4 racks.  I am double-checking the subnet manager settings on my IB switches, per MOS note 1682501.1

Seems some of my settings are incorrect.

Will stopping the subnet manager on a non-MASTER exadata leaf to make chagnes switch impact the operations/communication for the rest of my racks?    My MASTER is running on one of my Exalogic leaf switches, as it's supposed to be.  As long as I don't mess with THAT one, everything else should be pretty much transparent, correct?
