OPatch upgrade and Property File?

I was reading patch instruction that mention creating the property file with:

OPatch/wlskeys/createkeys.sh –oh <full path of platform OMS Oracle Home> -location <location to put the encrypted files>

I did that awhile back and maybe made a mistake, I put the -location under OPatch and it looks like it wrote to wlskeys dir.  If I upgrade, replace, the OPatch dir, can I just move this wlskeys dir somewhere more static or will I need to recreate it with the new createkeys.sh?  The "OPatch Upgrade Steps" section of the patch doc does not mention this issue:
