Latest revision is not getting selected for the checked in documents

Recently UCM is behaving abruptly. When I check out and check in for particular document, document revision is released. But when ever I download that document through RIDC old revision is getting downloaded. Recent revision is not getting downloaded.

When I manually search the content ID in quick search section and open the content details, the latest revision is not selected and older revision is selected.

Can anyone suggest when a latest revision gets selected after being released.Any help appreciated.
