Fixed Asset Depreciation Calculation

Hi,

I was doing on test in Fixed Asset Depreciation calculation. It is about SL method.Cost of the asset is 60$.

If this asset is supposed to have a life span of 60 months. the depreciation should be $1 a month. When I ran the depreciation for a month (June) it should show as $1.

I created couple of transactions and It calculated as “0.98” for the accumulated depreciation. Does JDE work this way or do we have any work around?
