ZFS 7310: Manually migrate an IP Address

I have a single-node ZFS 7310 with a free 10G interface (nxge1). I'd like to move the IP address currently on one of the 1G interfaces (nge0) over to the 10G interface (we're eliminating all 1G in the network) with minimal disruption to clients. The Network Configuration screen shows the device as up (there are also link lights on the hardware), there are no datalink or intarfaces defined for nxge1. All clients access the device via nfs4, or through VMware (virtual guests reside on this NAS). We're already planning on unmounting all mounts, and shutting down all VMs. Any other
