Standard hours per day

Is there a way (a UBE - did not find any existing) that one could update the STDD field of the F060116 Employee Information table?

I know that when left blank, a business function used throughout the systems knows how to default standard hours per day for various calculation purposes when F060116.YASTDD was left blank, but we would like to populate that field of F060116 always but by using that business function whatever it is, so that depending whether a different set of standard hours per year had been defined at any level for an employee, that update program would retrieve the right number for standard hours per day, per year as well as the standard numbers of days per year.
