FDMEE Error regenerating ODI scenario - datatype NUMERIC does not exist in technology: Oracle

Has anyone come across this error in FDMEE 11.1.2.4.200? I note there's another post made a year ago on this same error.

In my topology for Oracle technology, all the datatypes are enumerated correctly. Exception suggests ODI is looking for a datatype that correctly doesn't exist in Oracle, i.e. NUMBER instead of NUMERIC. I have opened an SR, but would like to know if anyone has already come across this and have successfully resolved it.
