Planning Multiple Production Lines with ASCP
We have multiple recipes for a single item (product). The reason for having multiple recipes is that the item is produced on different production lines having different production capacities; which requires a change in proportion of raw materials used. Production of the item is split on 60%-40% basis.
How can this scenario be catered in ASCP? Where this split will be defined in system?
Say, we have a demand of 1000 units. Capacity of Production Line 1 is 850 units. Remaining 150 units need to be produced on Production Line 2.
How can we get ASCP to plan for both the production lines in the manner stated above?
