Convert iStore Orders from 11i to R12

Hello All

We are upgrading 11i to R12 and we have a requirement to convert the open sales orders. However, some of these open orders were created from iStore. Need to know, what would be best strategy to convert these orders

Straight converting the sales orders -

If we directly create orders in OM - are those orders visible in dashboard ?

We are skipping the underlying Quote conversion - Will it make any difference ?

OR

Convert the Quote - then Create the Sales Orders
