I plan to move our EBS database from old DELL R910 server to latest DELL R930 server.  We are doing performance testing now.

DELL R930 server is much high speed on CPU and also high speed RAID adapter H830 compare to DELL R910 and H810 RAID.

I found following information very wield:

R9102 hours4 hours and 10 min50 minRedhat 5.10
R93066 min3 hours and 30 min75 ~ 85 minRedhat 6.8

We
did not change ORACLE database version and EBS version on both
servers.  The only change are DELL hardware and REDHAT LINUX O.S. from
5.10 to 6.8.

any Ideal why RMAN incremental backup take almost double time on new powerful server?

Howdy, Stranger!
