Removing old patches from ODA

I'm looking to free up some space on /opt.  We bare metal re-imaged our V1s ~2.5 years ago to 2.7 and have since patched to 2.10, 12.1.2.3, 12.1.2.5, and now 12.1.2.6 & 12.1.2.7.  From "How to clean up the old staged patches on ODA (Doc ID 1681062.1)":

oakcli manage cleanrepo --ver 2.7.0.0.0

Any caveats or gotchas experienced by those who have done this?  Thanks,
