How can i restrict an asset to get added in a future period using fa_addition_pub.do_addition api

Hi,

I am using the fa_addition_pub.do_addition to import the assets in R12.2. However, the assets which are having date placed in service in future periods are also getting imported. Is there a flag in the api to check this particular validation. As far as i know, we can control it through the FUTURE ADD option from the oracle forms if we try entering manually. Please provide some insight.
