How to keep 2 item masters identical

I have a third party system(Lawson) where items are created and inventory is transacted. Each time an item is created in Lawson it should also be created in Oracle. Each time an existing item is updated or changed in Lawson, that existing item should be changed in Oracle. I know about the item interface to initailly import new items from Lawson and create in Oracle EBS.  What about updates to existing items already in Oracle. How do i get the changes to items into Oracle EBS  Oracle EBS is only a holding place until the Lawson is decommisioned. Inventory
