Expenditure Item reversal not in asset lines

When assets are capitalized the expenditure item cost is picked up while the reversal expenditure item is not. Instead of a zero cost for the transaction a full amount is create for the asset line and interfaced to FA mass additions table. I am not sure why is this happening and what to do about having asset line with this cost be reversed and show up only the zero cost. I have not yet posted the mas additions and I am hoping we could still fix this. Your feedback is appreciated.
