Hi All,

I read Oracle 11gR2 - Oracle FAQ  What is th meanning of bold word?

History and Support Status[edit]

Oracle 11gR2 (for Linux 32-bit and 64-bit) was released on 1 September 2009.

The first patch-set, Oracle 11.2.0.2 was released in September 2010. A new Oracle home instead of in-place patching is now preferred.

The terminal patch set for 11gR2 is unknown; the latest patch-set is Oracle 11.2.0.4.

Premier Support Ended: 31-Jan-2015

Extended Support Ends: 31-Dec-2020

Free Extended Support will be available until 31 May 2017.
