How to Create Custom Category Sets in VCP

Hi Colleagues,

I know that the category sets as standard way came from inventory EBS during the standard collection, but for many reasons we don't need to create it from there.

We have multiple business in EBS, and each business has own items, we need your assistance to create customize solution to create category sets for each business when we run the standard collection, i know there is standard HOOK for customization, but because this is the first time so we need the way if there API should be used? if yes how?.if no please guide us
