Error while updating IB records

Hi,

I was trying to make some changes in Installed base of a product in service contract, by updating the Parent IB of the system.

For updating the parent IB, i selected a particular contract and then in the line tab i selected the product and then navigated to TOOLS and selected MAINTAIN INSTALLED BASE.

There it opened up a new browser which had 2 fields Current IB Parent & Change to IB parent and update. After clicking update i got an error message saying "Error while updating IB records"

Can someone please help me with it.
