FDMEE integration with SAP

Dear Experts,

We are having SAP ECC 6.0 EHP7 as source and want to connect to HFM 11.1.2.4 using FDMEE to bring the GL financials.

Also, we have gone through the FDMEE admin guide and we are clueless to find how source and target can be connected.

Please provide your expertise  to us and guide us in overcoming the situation.
