Shipment records needs to be uploaded in JDE from 3rd party software

Hi Team,

I have one of requirement of client where they enter sales order in JDE and later process they do it in 3rd party like Confirm Shipment, now after they ship items in 3rd party they want to update its information back to JDE like ITEM availability & status. Can you please help me how to transfer/upload shipment information back in JDE may be using EDI process & which all tables I need to update in JDE?

If it is possible using EDI tables then what all tables are used & EDI reports are used, can you pls tell me exact end to end process of doing it using standard application.
