Oracle 12c Installation

Hi ,

I'm proceeding with one oracle 12c installation.

Questions are:

1. There is already 32GB RAM on server and 4 11gR2.04 databases running on that. How to know whether this memory will be sufficient for installing  new 12c database on this (standalone).

Also, after this I also want to know how can I determine the memory_target I need to set for our server. Does application team give the details for the same, else how to identify from our end.

2. I have DNS server configured, do I need to setup /etc/hosts file in this case.
