VNC Solaris 11 managment

Hi, I am not finding much in the way of information on managing Xvnc.  I have it up and running ok, it is just I have times where the screen saver locks and I am unable to kill it for the session or force it to refresh.  I have to disable gdm and console-kit then issue a kill -15 on the pids ofr all sessions to get the display back under control,  The issue is now what was ever running, whatever it was, is gone.  There mus be a more graceful way to manage individual Xvnc sessions.  Maybe RDP would
