Instance restart immediately

I've created a new DB on a 3 node cluster using the client silent DB creation script. The instance is registered on node one only. After creation I took the database/instance down and instantly it restarted. It is on 12.1.0.2 with grid infrastructure already running (configured by someone else).

I want to start why it restarted instantly and how to disable that automatic instant startup.
