Why does adding/removing a vnet cause all domains to see a network event?

Hi,

I have two T7-2s running Solaris 11.3 (SRU8) with OVM for SPARC 3.4

pkg list entire

NAME (PUBLISHER)                                  VERSION                    IFO

entire                                            0.5.11-0.175.3.8.0.7.0     i--

Logical Domains Manager (v 3.4.0.0.27)

        Hypervisor control protocol v 1.12

        Using Hypervisor MD v 1.4

System PROM:

        Hostconfig      v. 1.6.4.a      @(#)Hostconfig 1.6.4.a 2016/03/24 19:42

        Hypervisor      v. 1.15.4       @(#)Hypervisor 1.15.4 2016/02/20 14:09

        OpenBoot        v. 4.38.4.a     @(#)OpenBoot 4.38.4.a 2016/03/11 11:12

The two systems share a common network for guest migration along with connectivity to production (vlans), mgmt and backup.

Guests are successfully able to run on either machine.

However, whenever a network operation (like adding/removing a vnet to a guest), *all* guests see an event on the associated switch. If one unbinds / binds a domain, then *every* network sees an event.

Howdy, Stranger!
