Payroll and Projects Timecard Layout (Recurring Time Period)

Business requirement:

implementing Oracle Time and Labor to an already existing user of Oracle Projects. The expenditure start cycle date is a Saturday (so Saturday to Friday weekly period) but for payroll they want a weekly time period of Monday to Sunday. We are looking to implement a projects and payroll timecard layout. The OTL implementation guide states that for projects the recurring time period should equal the expenditure start date cycle in Projects and so we would have a mismatch. You cannot update the expenditure start date in Projects, so cannot do anything with this.

I have updated the recurring period in OTL and I have managed to create a timecard and post it into Projects and Payroll with a timecard recurring period of Weekly Starts Monday. I am wondering if anyone else has done this previously. I would like to understand that this is standard functionality and that the previously described restriction only relates to a Project timecard layout (and not to Projects and Payroll timecard layout)?

Howdy, Stranger!
