oacore monitoring in EBS R12.2

We are encountering this issue of oacore hang/stuck many a time in the EBSR12.2 prod instance. We are looking at applying the latest weblogic patches to resolve for the long term. In the meanwhile, is there any database FND table that Weblogic queries to check the health metric of the managed servers that we can also query to check. Or does the weblogic scrape the managed server logs to dispay the health of the managed servers?
