Weighted Average Cost related issue

Weighted Average Cost recalculation related issue

When the item is setup as cost method 07 standard cost ( at
item branch record) and the standard cost 07 is 0.00 ( this is  done on purpose) , the system
still calculates  / recalculates WAC (Weight Average Cost) during ship confirm ( P4205) and during IA (P4114).

However we are seeing that the WAC amount in (Amount - UnitCost  Alias: UNCS ) is getting weird in other
words it running in  millions.  We have observed that for all such instances , the Cost Changed Flag  Alias: CCFL is updated to 1.

Question :

  1. Can you advise what should we be looking / checking for?.
  2. When is the Cost changed flag (CCFL) updated, what makes it to 1?
