I am trying to figure out after running opatch auto successfully against my ASM Standalone 11.2.0.4.160119 Oracle database why running the post installation scripts doesn't create the $ORACLE_HOME/sqlpatch/22674697 directory. Don't I have to run the postinstall.sql script after running the catbundle.sql psu apply but before I run the utlrp.sql script? Currently, we are only applying the April combo patch 22738793 only. No OPatch this go around as the patch only requires 11.2.0.3.6 or higher and we're at .12. I may be incorrect in assuming the catbundle creates the directory in question as it may get created during the opatch auto steps, but it should created along the way somewhere. I am not finding anything on the net about it. Please help.
