Has anyone sold one of their companies? How did you clear out your receiveables and payables

We are selling off one of our companies and need to get some ideas on how others have handled clearing the sub-ledgers, AR, AP and Inventory.  These transactions will not longer be valid in JDE once the transfer has taken place so how do we make the AR and AP open amounts $0 and the inventory units and cost $0.
