Can any of the available "Maintenance API's" be used to Amortize adjustments to existing assets in a

Good Morning,

We are in the process of converting assets from Oracle 11i to Oracle 12 and found YTD and LTD differences after converting one of the tax books. Upon further investigation, we found that the converted assets had cost adjustments that were amortized in the tax book. Because of the amount of assets (300) impacted, we were hoping there was an available API that we could use to update the converted assets using the ADI upload process.

We believe performing a penny cost adjustment, selecting "Amortize", then saving the record, followed by returning the cost to it's original amount will initiate the correct depreciation calculation. We currently use the Assets Adjustment, Retirement, Transfer, and Attribute API's. Can any of these be enhanced/developed to amortize a cost adjustment?
