Why is the Maintenance Workbench Search Results inconsistent?

Hello,

We just discovered that the results of retrieving work orders list through Maintenance Workbench.

It does not return the list of Released work orders for a given asset number if the Released status checkbox is checked and we don't enter a specific From Date.

But if the status group of check boxes is unchecked and From Date is entered, it gives results.

It seems that the provided options for the search parameters does not work well.

Would really appreciate any help or enlightenment.
