Apply an interim patch that requires lower PSU/CPU than the one installed

I have Oracle Database 11.2.0.4.160719 (PSU Jul2016) on Linux64.

I must install interim patch 20130575, but it's available for an older PSU/CPU: Jan2016.

I checked using the ‘Analyze conflict’ of MOSC and using the command ‘opatch prereq CheckConflictAgainstOHWithDetail -ph ./’, and there's no conflicts.

Should I try to install the interim patch for PSU/CPU Jan2016, even though I have PSU/CPU Jul2016?
