Versions of R47011 required to be in single threaded queue ?

We recently had an issue where EDI to Sales Order R47011 created duplicate sales order for the same set of EDI orders.  Additionally we had issue where incorrect sales order no was updated on EDI records by the process.   On investigation we figured out that user had submitted R47011 version over same Data selection within 15 sec and for some reason the jobs had messed up updating F47012 with Sales order no which do not exist . Attached EDI detail table and Sales order detail/history) 

Will Single thread of R47011 version prevent this issue or is it something else?
