Handling Time Entry Self Service PPED - P051125

Has anyone modified P051125 - Time entry Self Service Time director so that the date would automatically populate the correct pay period end date?  Right now it populates the PPED with the system date which just results in an invalid PPED error.  Then the employee can pick any date they want from the calendar rather than just being able to select valid PPED's.  Our employees are easily confused at the best of times... and have trouble with being paid on Fridays where the pay period end is actually the Saturday so it results in a lot of hard errors and
