HSA Maximum contribution limit

edited Mar 5, 2020 4:02AM in Compensation and Benefits - EBS (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

I have question related to HSA contribution. My company make one time contribution to Employee H SA account when they first enroll and they make a bi-weekly contribution after that. Our understanding is the H SA maximum contribution by government is for both employee and employer contribution. So for e.g. one contribution is $250 and employer bi-weekly is $30. If someone enroll during open enrollment, employee maximum coverage can be ($2600 – 250- 30*26) but if someone enroll when five pay period is remaining employee maximum contribution can be ($2600 – 250 – 30*5) which would allow employee to contribute

Howdy, Stranger!
