UDC 00/DT - New Code with three characters?

Hi,

I am attempting to add a new UDC code in 00/DT.  The field allows for up to 10 characters but I get an error message of code length invalid when I enter three or more characters.  Can you advise if this table is limited to UDC of 2 characters in length?
