X windows not working

We are using solaris 11.3 version

We are in the process to install RAC.

In order to install grid control, it needs x windows.

We tried with CygwinX and Xming and those does not seems working. When we try xhost + &

It will say No protocol specified.

Is there any other X windows application we can try? Or, how can investigate the no protocol message?

I searched on google and some of those came back with Xauthority need to be modified and tried that but still not working.

Gurus, please advise. Thanks.
