Adding comments for recons in Locked periods

Hi,

I would like to allow auditors (role: Commentator) to add comments to a recon. This works fine as long as the period is Open or Closed, but does not work if the period has been Locked. We want to lock a period once all recons have been approved, but this would prevent an auditor from adding comments afterwards at year-end or quarter-end reviews. Is there any way to add comments to recons in a Locked period?
