CMM (Cooperative Memory Management) without Exalogic

Hi all,

I read Oracle Doc regarding CMM:

https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1213/wls/WLEXA/cmm.htm#WLEXA998

1- Is it only for Exalogic Elastic Cloud?

"Cooperative Memory Management (CMM) is a WebLogic feature for Exalogic Elastic Cloud environments that promotes effective memory utilization by allowing WebLogic Server resources to adjust memory utilization based on the memory utilization of the whole machine."

2- How can I find more information regarding cmm parameters in WebLogic Server, e.g.

-Dweblogic.utils.cmm.lowertier.ServiceDisabled=true

what is it mean?

Thanks

Moh
